"My daughter ran into vehicle trouble caused by a freeway accident returning to college and happened to stop in the the Inn's parking lot to assess damage. The friendly female receptionist, Shawna, happened to be leaving her shift at 5PM and offered her assistance and genuine concern, despite the 12°F winter weather. Shawna followed her to a service station, and described to the service station crew on what she saw while tailing my daughter's vehicle. Then, she led my daughter to a nearly mechanic and waited in the parking lot until my daughter's friend arrived. I've vacationed at dozens of 4 and 5 star resorts, countless cruises and don't recall a service professional like Shawna who's went way above and beyond the call of duty to help someone in need. Rest assured that if even a modicum of this level of dedication to service and genuine compassion is applied to guests of this establishment, you'll be sleeping well and enjoying your stay. The world needs more people like Shawna. Thanks!"

"New owners!! They are renovating all! Our room was totally renovated! Wonderful! New everything! Beds,freshly painted, New bathrooms, New microwave,fridges, Keurig coffee makers! Pristine outdoor pool surrounded by park like setting! This will be a true gem when completed! Close to many restaurants and wineries and close to beaches! Weko beach less than 1 mile! Complimentary shuttle bus on wkends to take you to Weko beach and restaurants!"

"New owners! Since Oct 2022..kudos to them! Renovating complete property! Our renovated room was wonderful! New everything! Comfy beds! New bathrooms, freshly painted! New microwave and fridges! Keurig coffee makers too! We stayed in double room by their beautiful concrete pool surrounded by park like setting with mature trees. Very helpful staff that are taking pride in renovations! Close to beaches and many restaurants and wineries ! This will be a true gem once property is totally renovated..try it..you will love this property! We already booked to return in a couple months! New name of property Sunset Dunes motel and suites"

"Room was clean, but bare. Bed was not very comfy. The outside can use some serious work. Also there is not a true lock on the door. It could easily be opened. Staff was friendly and very easy check in. With a low price, it is what it is. Not a value, just literally worth what you pay."

"I mean it is a 1 star inn all things considered. Staff were nice and helpful (I stayed for a week in room 101) a slight couple issues I would like to address though. 1. The fire alarm was constantly going off and in need of battery change as soon as I walked in the room. 2. the wall paper in the bathroom was cracking and chipping everywhere. 3. The floor was nice BUT it had small holes and it wasn’t fully level. 4. The bed was nicely made but the mattress wasn’t that comfortable. 5. The microwave was incredibly loud. As I said this is a 1 star inn so I took that fully into consideration."
