"We had such a lovely cabin stay at Pere Marquette River Lodge. We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly and helpful staff. Then went to our adorable cabin with a full kitchen. It was cozy and warm and just so cute! I was so impressed. Our guide, Jory, for our fishing trip was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, incredibly personable. He knew all the places to stop for my fiancee to catch Salmon. Which was a bucket list item for him! The lunch he prepared was delicious! We will definitely be back and next time I think we will do a week instead of a weekend."

"The guide (Frank) berated us nearly the entire time and screamed a lot. We are beginners and it was our introduction to fly fishing. He was extremely rude and unhelpful when it came to learning the techniques. We caught no fish. It was overall a strange, unpleasant experience because of the staff behavior. We did not stay at the lodge."
