"This place is a surprise discovery for any traveler who seeks a place with all the amenities and is off-the-beaten-path. Harvey, the Innkeeper, is a prince. He does everything to please and has obvious lots of past experience in answering all traveler needs and wants. His supervisor, Merlin, is ever present and make sure that you need to pet him or scratch his belly to gain full acceptance to HIS place. The rooms are palatial and tastefully decorated. You walk in expecting "country" or "rustic," and get something that rivals a 5-star hotel in Manhattan."

"Our stay at The Inn at Torch Lake was wonderful! Our room (The Torch Lake Room) was large and beautiful complete with king sized bed, jetted tub, fireplace, TV, and balcony. Harvey, the owner, provided a great breakfast each morning and was around throughout our stay. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon! We would recommend staying here to anyone."

"We just completed our first stay at The Inn at Torch Lake and will definitely return again! The location is amazing, beds/pillows are absolutely the best, rooms were extremely clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Harvey & Merlin were excellent hosts that were available if you need them for anything. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. "What a great place! We have stayed at many different places throughout our 10 day journey throughout Michigan and this place was by far our favorite place. Harvey made us a delicious breakfast every morning and he surprised us every morning with something new. Harvey and his sidekick dog Merlin were wonderful hosts and we really enjoyed our conversation with Harvey.
