"This guy is a scam. My house had significant water damage and I had a water mitigation company come and mitigate the damages. I hired a professional clean up company. After the mitigation was complete the insurance company was not on our side. After weeks of dealing with the insurance company and getting nowhere, we had to hire a public adjuster. We hired Ed and his company Up Front settlements to assist us with the insurance company. We thought this was the right choice. The mitigation company finished the job. Sketched and wrote an estimate. Submitted to the insurance company. We settled with the insurance company with the mitigation. Here comes Ed and his scam. Ed met the adjuster on site. Ed and the adjuster got into an argument. We heard and saw everything on our ring system. Ed verbally abused the adjuster and allegedly put his hands on her. She filed a police report. Ed put a repair estimate together that we did not approve. Insurance company paid out based on the repairs. The repairs cost $30,000 more than what was approved. Ed charged his fee on the mitigation estimate. Remind you he did nothing to earn his fee on that. Ed also charged a fee on the pack out. Again he had no involvement. Ed charged his fee for settling for 30,000 less. I had no choice to pay Ed because the checks went to him direct. He took his $25,000 fee out and handed the rest off to us. Ed maybe spent a dozen hours at the house and did nothing. He would have his wife call us and do his dirty work and explain why we would not get any more money. Unfortunately the contractor who did the repairs knew Ed and they also said the same thing that I went through. I would give him zero stars if I could. Please do not hire this guy. Con artist."
