"I don't normally do reviews, but felt compelled to for this. This review is with regards to how Carolyn advertises. In the mail I received an unlabelled envelope with a photo of my house. No indication that it was an Allstate ad- just a random photo of my house. Very odd/creepy and felt like an invasion of personal space. I can't attest to how she operates her agency otherwise, but felt that her mailing tactic was creepy/spammy. I hope she reconsiders this marketing tactic in the future as it is both ineffective and strange."

"I recently switched over to Carolyn Tack-West Allstate Insurance. Of course, I switched based on cost-savings for better or similar coverage, but after evaluating quotes from several agencies / companies, I selected based on Agent Nick Budnik's great and responsive service. Nick really made the switch easy. I have also found the Allstate Website and Application to be a step above my prior Insurance Company's Apps. All around I am very pleased. As most surveys ask - "would you recommend to a friend" and my answer would be YES!"

"It started in late 2014 when we first signed with the agency, and led to inaccurate paperwork, misspelled names, unreturned messages--which should have raised a yellow flag. After we wrote to cancel both policies after the rates shot up this year, we STILL had $3200 taken out of our checking account (plus a $5 overdraft fee). Agent claimed she couldn't find/remember the email, even though I had her response in my mailbox. Process to get our money refunded in three days as promised was apparently incorrectly filed (both in timing and references to having cancelled both auto AND home), and we are still, seven days later, waiting for all the money to return. Agency apparently didn't bother to follow up with corporate, nor did they follow up with us to make sure we had gotten our refund because of their screwup. Amazing levels of incompetence and lack of professionalism, desperately in need of personnel and process fixes."
