"Moved in 3 weeks ago to my new home. 1st time home buyer. Let the agent talk me into a high premium because I wanted to be fully covered. My basement flooded already and they denied me any coverage. They also recommended I do not do anything accept stop the flooding. Their claims rep told me it could take 2 weeks or so to see if they can cover me. I am out of pocket thousands of dollars and still no response. I am switching insurance providers and I recommend anyone else that considers Allstate to do the same."
