Popp's Resort

"tldr: We will definitely be coming back to this area again and will be renting from Popps again. The staff is kind and helpful. The prices are affordable. The natural beauty is incredible. Our family of four rented a pontoon from Popps during our camping trip over labor day weekend. Our day on the pontoon was the highlight of our trip! It was a very affordable price for a full day rental. The area is stunningly beautiful. There are many sandy beaches to pull up to. The kids (4 and 7 years old) swam, explored, and played. Popps provided us with a helpful map of the area that indicated good swimming beaches and rocky areas to avoid. We have never fished a day in our lives, but our kids talked us into impulse buying some kid's fishing poles from the store at Popps. Dallas was a gem and gave them (and me) a quick fishing lesson. I had low expectations for the fishing experience, but each of my kids caught and released 5 bluegills. We parked on a sandy beach on Teachers Island, the kids stood on the shore and fished with their little fishing poles. Core memories were made!"

"Honestly paying $150 for these rooms is not worth it. The people working there were super nice and incredibly helpful, but the actual rooms are not at all worth what you pay for. The water pressure is next to none, you have to bring your own hand soap and towels, and there was a note on the inside of the cupboards that said "dishes are cleaned not sanitized" which was enough to make me not want to eat off of the provided silverware. I genuinely cannot stress enough though how helpful the woman working in the front was she even gave us some products for FREE just because she was a kind soul. literally love her, but hate the rooms."

"Every year we go to crivitz for a week, luckily we have a place close to Popps. We rent a boat from them every year. Their pontoons are nice, the people are nice, service is great and the pricing is very fair. We will continue to go to popps every year."

"If you want a taste of the wild and a comfortable way to experience it, Popp's resort is the greatest way to do so. We visited with getting outdoors as the reason we were there, and having a place to sleep was a nice bonus. A convenient dock to enter the water right at his doorstep, a tackle shop right on the shore, and every other possible need met between comfort and a nice dinner at Renée's. After long highways and back-roads with little in between, Popp's resort is an oasis of comfort and delight."
