"Perfect place to stay for a family trip to Ski Brule. Clean rooms, friendly service, and great complimentary breakfast! Kids had a blast swimming in the pool, and we relaxed in the hot tub and sauna after a long day of skiing. Highly recommend!"

"We have stayed at the American Inn in Iron River many times while visiting family. The rooms, lobby and pool area are always very clean. The staff is helpful and friendly."

"The Hotel has a very nice lobby and fresh breakfast! Customer service is great everyone we talked to was very friendly. The hot tub wasn’t in working order so that was a little disappointing but the kids enjoyed the pool and sauna . The prices are a little high given the location and the rooms could use some updating . Would definitely stay again and would also recommend."

"My daughter, son and I were driving to Minnesota to meet my husband there so we arrived at 10 pm. The staff was very professional polite and accommodating. The front desk clerk her name is Barb she was absolutely wonderful and we talked for awhile after I checked in. It was easy to realize she loves her job and people in general. The motel was safe quiet and clean. I later learned the towns police department is right behind the motel. The beds we had in our room were very very hard and uncomfortable. But that wasnt enough for me to leave a bad rating. The continental breakfast was great had a wonderful selection of hot and cold foods and beverages. They had corned beef hash on the menu but only on Fridays. The pool was closed so I cannot comment on the condition of the pool."

"Freshest, cleanest, and cheapest (Sunday night rate though) hotel we stayed in on a 3 day trip around WI and the UP. Staff was very friendly. Pool and hot tub area is great and open til midnight for adults. Good selection of toiletries in the room. Only ding I can give it is that the Cable TV situation is kinda whack."
