"I have been an Auto-Owners client for many years, and have always found the agents responsive and willing to help. The company has always been responsive with settling claims. However, my most recent case was a bit more complex than usual, and because of this had been suspended for some time. Then Kirstin, an agent in Northville MI took over the claim. She went above and beyond to gather the additional data needed, complete a thorough investigation, and got the claim settled! She was amazing! It is very reassuring to have an insurance company, with agents like Kirstin, who truly care about, and work for their clients!"
"If you get Ben B. as your rep, say a prayer. It took over 60 days for a simple $1500 payout for damages done to my vehicle by one of their customers. Even my shop was mind blown how long it was taking (stating they've dealt with auto owners in the past without issues like this.) Expect to make multiple calls every week, send multiple emails that go unanswered. Outside of Ben, everyone else that I dealt with was helpful and friendly."

"Absolutely the worst company to deal with. Ben Baron was my claim rep and was so slow with everything. Failed to inform me of different endorsement that were owed to me regarding the claim. Took 2 months for a simple payout. He was rude to me and my family. Lines of communication to reach him are non existent, wait a week you may hear back. They protected their boss as if he was to good to talk to me regarding my issues. They didn't even get the right deductable on my payout. Eric Santo the manager was kind to listen once gotten ahold of. I would never recommend this company. Go to foremost, all state, anyone but them."
