"My husband and I absolutely love this place. The bar, great drinks and fantastic service. We have never had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant. Looking forward to it though. The view, amazing. The rooms, clean, modern and comfy. It is very clear someone cares about this place. It is small and quaint with great little personal touches. We have been in all seasons and love it every time.....I feel a road trip coming on :)"

"Location on Lake Superior,, clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff. However, more storage space in bathroom for toiletries would be nice. Food was good but not great, They can not be reached by phone, email only which makes making reservations tough. We did enjoy our stay."

"Had a wonderful stay here while skiing at Mt Bohemia! Decor was very nice, bed was very, very comfortable, French press coffee was a nice touch. You can order breakfast that is delivered to your room, which was huge even though we split one for the two of us. Will definitely stay here again! Restaurant is great with tasty food and generously-sized well-priced cocktails."

"This property is absolutely amazing. Be warned, this is not a 5 star hotel. The sheets are scratchy, the bed is hard, the shower head had no pressure, there isn't a front desk agent, there was only face soap and shampoo/conditioner in one, but you don't come here for the amenities you stay here for the location, view, and people. The view from the room (corner king bed room) was absolutely stunning. We got to watch the sunset without leaving bed. Every person we came into contact with at the hotel or restaurant was amazing also. They even remembered my dietary needs after the first night of eating with them. The restaurant has amazing vegetarian and vegan options. Both the udon salad and the falafel were delicious, although the fiances pork was not very hot. Before staying i had asked what they were doing as far as breakfast and amenities since these Covid times and was informed that breakfast had been suspended, but i was unaware that the restaurant was takeout only (which is totally fine they have plenty of outdoor seating) but i was disappointed when i was told the only liquor beverages I could get were one of the 3 cocktails on the menu, one of them being a rum drink, but that i could not get a rum and coke and they did not have any dark rum. I completely understand having a limited menu, but was expecting to have drinks at the bar so I did not bring my own, and the closest liquor store is 15 mins away. That was the only disappointment of the whole stay though and the sole reason for the 4 star rating. Also a fair warning that the hotel and restaurant parking are shared, so if you have lots of luggage to cary to the room make sure you arrive outside of restaurant hours otherwise you may be parking down the road a ways. All in all this property is amazing and we will absolutely be back."

"Amazing!!! The views from the room were perfect. The room smelled fresh. We had fresh towels and linens each day. The restaurant serves delicious ribs and their fries are top notch! The breakfast is granola, yogurt, various homemade breads, honey butter and cream cheese as a spread. If you ask, they will bring you tea and honey."
