"We had a great night here! We got the room with the jacuzzi, which was absoultely amazing!! You could see views of the lake from the jacuzzi. We also had a great balcony. We got in really late and the staff was able to accomidate as well. We did kind of have a bad view due to the construction, but it didn't take away from the beauty of the lake."

"You can't beat the views from the bluff and close proximity to downtown South Haven. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a standard room which was fine; just your basic room but seemed clean and comfortable. We used the hot tub which was relaxing but needed to be cleaned. My son and I enjoyed a game of fuse ball in the rec room. We liked the vibe of the motel. We appreciated the picnic tables right outside our door. We would return if in the area."

"Just pay the extra for lake view! Try Lake Superior Lodge, second or third floor clear down at the end, with a neat little private balcony. Majestic view even on a rainy night. Big windows mean you see the water when you wake up. For lodge rooms with less of a water view, at the end of each floor there are lakefront patios/decks with seating areas overlooking the water. Grounds are lovely too. Place has been making people happy for 50 years (tall lodges are newer than low buildings, and better view of water). Gas fireplace wouldn’t light, but a jolly tech arrived within the hour to fix it. No breakfast served then, but great bakery not far away. Also a well kept little park and the red South Haven Lighthouse."

"The good: friendly staff, beautiful view, pools and hot tub were clean and taken care of, room was clean with plenty of towels, jacuzzi was actually a two person jacuzzi. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The bad: room is very small for the price. The bathroom is tiny. Could barely close the door and sit on the toilet. Actual keys for the doors as opposed to mag keys. You can hear everyone walking in the room above you very clearly. Ac unit was ancient. Jacuzzi water temp was not good. Would I stay there again? Maybe. It's not far from beaches and the view is spectacular. If you are looking for a home base to crash at while spending most of your time out of the hotel room it's good. The exterior has the look of one of those resort hotels like in Dirty Dancing, but could use some activities like it. There was a big fire pit, but didn't see a fire there the two nights we stayed. In the end you could do a lot worse for a place to stay at, but at 200+ a night for the king room you could stay at a nice b&b in the area."

"Absolutely stunning view and incredibly sweet office staff! My friends and I came here for a quick weekend getaway and loved it! It is a perfect location and nice property. We stayed in the Bridal Suite, I definitely recommend it. We can’t wait to plan our next getaway here!"
