"My car insurance went up $1100 for a 6 month policy. Only change was removing renters and adding an old car. No claims, tickets, lapse in coverage. This is absurd! Edit to original post: Got a copy of my driving record. Wolverine claimed an accident a year ago for a windshield replacement. In addition, I canceled my policy 3 weeks ago and just got charged over $300 for policy renewal for 2024. I'll be honest, they used to be a good company. By the recent reviews.... not so much."

"If you want peace of mind and security from your car insurance company, you will not find it here. After our car was hit from behind and the driver fled the scene, Randi at Wolverine made us feel like this was the first claim she had ever processed, every step of the way. We were constantly told one complete lie after another about how the process would work. First, she said our bank wouldn’t cooperate with her to get a 10 Day Payooff on our loan. After hearing that story for over a week, we called our bank only to find out that nobody from Wolverine had ever called. After we got the 10 Day Payoff from our bank for her, she changed her story and said that they dont use an exact payoff because they just send the entire amount to the bank, including the 8,400.00 in excess of what was left on the loan. Oh, but wait, after another week of messing around, we were back to needing the 10 Day Payoff again so a separate check could be sent to the bank. Every time we talked to her or her manager the story and the process changed. First we were told that we would be charged a deductible. Then after paying for a copy of the police report, showing that it WAS a hit and run, and escalating it to management, the deductible was waived. Then a week later, the deductible was back in the numbers sent to us. After fighting it with management again, the deductible was again waived. Then when the actual payment checks were finally being cut, the amount was less the deductible again. The checks are being sent out now, again for the second time without the deductible removed (or so we are told). This company, Wolverine, and Randi in particular are representative of everything that is wrong with businesses cheating people in America. They are plain and simple criminals. The only thing they know how to do is take your money. Also, we were told by management at Wolverine that Randi is their best employee. That sets the bar pretty low. Fair warning to those looking to get a lower rate at Wolverine on car insurance. Beware of what you are actually going to get, and remember the name Randi."
"Customer service has always been super friendly but today they reached out at 9:00 p.m. for a request for a copy of our policy, well after hours. Very appreciative of the extra lengths Cameron Nix went to in order to resolve my request. We plan on keeping Wolverine as our homeowners insurance provider for many years to come."
