"Pool and hot tub were warm that was the only good thing. Bathrooom was not great bubbled and moldy wallpaper. Kid came out screaming there was 2 cockroaches in the shower. I informed the desk and she just said eh that’s weird."

"The room was honestly pretty dirty. We got in late at night and got right to bed. I woke up in the morning and had a look around. The shower had hair in it, with an accompanied razor (it couldn't have been cleaned obviously) the room smelled like a wet dog and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The phone in the room had some kind of sticky residue on it, with animal hair stuck to it. I had a sore throat and sinus issues for 3 days after spending the night in this room, maybe it wasn't related to the moldy room, I'm not sure. I'm sorry to say all of this because the staff was very friendly, the hotel seemed clean and orderly (other than our specific room) and the manager refunded our second night (because we decided not to stay in this hotel for the second night) This is just my honest review. I may attempt to stay here again in the future, hoping the room we had was a fluke. The staff did seem concerned when we informed them. They did seem to want to make it better and I commend them for how they handled it. Even though our room was not great, they did try to make it right, and we appreciated that."

"We thought this place was so cute, we opted last minute to stay an extra night! We came up from Chicago to do the Dunes and the next morning decided to check out the area! Mary at the front desk was suuper accommodating and awesome and even gave us tourists some great info and tips on things to go check out! They have a giant pool and hot tub open till 10! They also do a cute little daily breakfast! Would and will absolutely stay here again! Thanks again for everything Mary!"

"Took a trip via bike and wanted to stay in Hart. This hotel is right on the trail, with a sign and a convenient little side trail that leads you right to the hotel. The rooms were clean and had plenty of space, even with two bikes parked inside. I thought the room smelled pretty heavily of cleaner or maybe potpourri, but we just left the window open for a while and it was fine. Maybe ask them not to use anything so fragrant if you're sensitive. Make sure to ask for a main floor room if you can't do stairs because there's no elevator. The breakfast was okay, but FYI it's just a few hot options and otherwise a typical continental breakfast. The eggs were good. Service was great and everyone was very nice and helpful. We would totally stay here again, and we had a lovely time in Hart!"

"Right off the highway, this hotel has a spacious parking lot, plenty of handicapped parking, a covered drive up for unloading and when you check in. The staff is very friendly, there is always hot coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby. You can definitely smell the pool when you walk in, but it's not off-putting. The rooms are spacious and clean. The non smoking room smelled a little smokey at first, but definitely not bad. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room as well as a small coffee maker, a hair dryer, and amenities in the bathroom. There are plenty of towels in the room, but if you're going to the pool or hot tub, the front desk offers towels specifically for the pool. There is also a nice table and chairs in the room, lots of plugs for electronics, and lots of pillows and drawers unpacking. The pool area and hot tub is spacious, lots of tables or relaxing chairs available, a shower to rinse off before you head back to your room, and rooms for tanning! The breakfast buffet is delicious, and I definitely recommend the waffles with sausage and some syrup. Overall, the stay was fantastic, and we'd definitely come back!"
