"5 stars for my stay. You are not going to get a plush hotel room. This is exactly how they describe it. These are old cottages that show their character. They are modernized, clean, cozy, bright and clean. The staff was pleasant and the location is minutes from down town TC and a short drive to Suttons Bay or Leland. Would/will I stay here again? Yes, this is my kind of place to rest my head at night after a long drive."
"7 of us stayed in 4 rooms and we had a great time! We came up in a snowstorm and they kindly let us check in early and upgraded our rooms. They also came out multiple times throughout the weekend to plow and shovel the sidewalks. We plan on coming back in the summer and maybe making this an annual trip!"
"My husband and I stayed here for our little fall honeymoon. The location is perfect and close to many attractions around Traverse City. The private beach is wonderful, even with the rainy weather. We absolutely loved staying at the Anchor Inn."
"Great spot to make for your lodging. It is rustic but had everything we needed. Dog friendly, so family friendly. Quiet and with a great view. We would stay there again. Service was good. Very clean. Plenty of restaurants nearby."
"We loved, loved, loved the Anchor Inn. The business did an excellent job of setting expectations for the experience, and the quaint, rustic setting was exactly what we were looking for. The cozy queen room was just right for two people for a two-night stay. The beach access on Lake Michigan was perfect, and the attention to detail in even the smallest room was appreciated. The staff was really friendly and helpful too. Our stay included concert tickets at Interlochen, and the short drive between the two spots was no trouble at all. This will definitely be at the top of our list for our next trip to Traverse City."
