"Good location. Terrible property - no Housekeeping Service provided. We had to call front desk for fresh towels 2 days in a row after returning from sightseeing at 7-8pm each day. 2nd day front desk told us they weren't sure if they had 2 sets of clean towels available, really? Partner had to go to front desk, they finally supplied clean towels. Upon check out, I told staff about the lack of housekeeping service - their response was a lame "oh, sorry." Would not recommend, and I one to not leave reviews."

"First off the pictured online showed us a totally different room than what we got. We were getting away for a romantic weekend and the room was a bust. The floor felt like it was going to cave in, the tub was not nearly as big as in the picture nor the same shape, the tub was falling apart, there wasn't much for amenities we had to go buy things, the room was VERY outdated. I will never stay here again. The ONLY good thing about this place was its location."

"For an older icon motel, it was just what we needed: clean, convenient, & comfy. The newly renovated pool amid the garden was a peaceful retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. It was like going back in time, staying at a motel my parents would have known and trusted. We appreciate the helpful staff, hot coffee, and self-serve breakfast in the morning. Beds were OK in our tidy, quiet room. We loved the walk-in shower. The price is affordable, and the location worked great for us. It's obvious from the many guests that we saw that this Howard Johnsons is a good pace to rest for the night. Thank you."

"We decided to book this last minute. It was the most affordable one at the time that wasn’t completely booked. They had the room cleaned and ready within an hour! The lady at the desk was super sweet. And there is someone there all night. The room we had was the upgraded king sized room. It was very clean, cozy, and spacious. Well worth the money!"
