"i rented the main house every year here for quite awhile till this year 2024. the way it works is once you rent a week you get 1st chance to rent the same unit the following year. I've been doing this for years never any issues. this year i call up to pay in advance as normal. our family has always been welcomed back year after year no issues. not this year someone has taken it upon themselves to rent it to someone else. now the place we have been coming for years is not a option for our family. i have reached out several times with no return calls from manager or owners. needless to say we were upset. The good side we found a better place in the same price range that is alot better. just a little info for anyone wanting to stay at cozy comfort resort the main house has soft floors that are rotted it spots a/c cant keep house at a good temp in the summer the beds are rock had and so uncomfortable we bought air mattresses instead of using their beds all the living room furniture is totally worn out the water pressure is very low throughout all the cabins. the shower drains are always clogged up when checking in i always go buy draino as soon as i get there so i dont have to stand in a tub filling up with water when i shower. upon check out you are expected to clean the house before leaving and we always do down to stripping off the bedding and sweeping and moping the floor and taking all trash to dumpster. the original property manager and her husband were great they were a pleasure to deal with. there are better deals on airbnb"

"My husband and I stayed here two years ago and were very impressed with these accommodations compared to others in the area. Last year, my sister and I stayed here for a "sisters' retreat" weekend. We both loved it so much we decided this would be the ideal place for our "girls' retreat" this coming summer with a few of our closest friends. We are all in our 50s and 60s. It has beautiful sunsets on Crystal Lake, with lots to do right at the resort (swimming, paddle-boarding, etc) as well as being close to other areas like Frankfort and Traverse City."

"Loved staying at Cozy Comfort! I stayed here once in 2020 and this time we were in cabin 5. Cozy Comfort is a perfect location- close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, and more! We loved having the paddle boards, kayaks, and pedal boat. This was the perfect place to stay for a girls week!"

"The resort is charming. My husband's family started coming here in the 1960's. With my father-in-law's passing earlier this year, this trip was important to my husband. Due to a miscommunication our family 4 lost the use of a cabin that fits our needs. We will be returning but will have to get creative on fitting 4 people in a 1 bedroom cabin. Unfortunately the current caretakers made it clear this was not a good year for them and they would not be returning next year. I would still encourage people to visit, just remember to ask questions."

"This resort is truly a hidden gem, it has a great natural aesthetic with wooden cabins and it even has a shuffle board spot and open fire pit in the middle! Definitely would highly recommend if you just want to get away to a nice quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of the city."
