"Room was clean looking but had a funky smell... bought some fabreeze and sprayed the entire room twice and it was livable. Breakfast was pretty simple. All in all it was alright for the price."

"Problems first, average review next. First, if you like coffee in your room, this isn't the place for you. Coffee maker is located on the sink in the bathroom. If you are familiar with the phrase fecal cloud, you'll plan on Starbucks. Accessible rooms have a tub with grab bars, not a step-in or roll-in shower. I knew this in advance, so not a complaint, just a warning. Now the average review stuff: Older hotel (maybe 70s style) but nice enough. Carpet has been replaced (in my room) with vinyl plank flooring. To me, that's a plus over outdated carpet. Heating is from electric baseboard radiant heat, so plan on taking a while to heat room. Breakfast was minimal at best (toast, cereal, bagels, and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches). On the positive side: Room was large, staff was friendly. Nice view of the bay from the outside picnic area."

"I was skeptical when I booked this as I have not had good experiences with Econolodge. Overall, however, this was a great place. Mostly clean, though housekeeping needs to do better in some areas. Breakfast was continental but good. Staff was excellent at check in, fixing booking mistakes by Choice. They upgraded me as a Gold member with a view of the Bay. I would recommend."
