"Stopped in last week for a large pepperoni and D-ham. The pizza was excellent!! Crust had a nice crisp and perfect chew. Toppings were VERY generous. Been eating there for 50+ years. Whether it was Sam, John, or Vinny, the pizzas were/are always consistently excellent!!"

"We have been coming to Pizza Sam's for over 40 years. When we could dine in, we went alot even though we live in Sanford. Saturday, September 30, 2023, we were in St Louis for 2 of our grandson's football games. We went to Pizza Sam's since we had not had their pizza in a very long time. We got 2 mediums and the toppings were great. But both of the pizza's were badly burnt. It ruined the pizza. Since we live in Sanford, we could not turn around and go ask for 2 more. So please tell your employees to check the bottom of the pizzas before they are put in the box so you don't give a customer a burnt one. It was horrible and we were so disappointed. Thank you and next time we will check the bottom before we leave the restaurant. Connie Holsinger"

"Pizza Sams has been a staple in my life since a kid. My parents would go there in the 60’s as well then later on take us out for dinner as kids. We enjoyed watching them toss pizza and gazing at the sword fish on the wall. When Sam passed away in my mind so did this establishment. The crew by themselves would operate this establishment better than the current owner. I have witnessed him multiple times yelling at staff in the middle of the restaurant. Super unprofessional!!!!! Pretty sad this place does not allow people to dine in anymore to experience an old memory."

"Pizza is terrible. If i wanted to cut my own pizza, i would have bought Digorno from walmart. 1st bad order I didn’t make a big deal, wasnt mad because maybe just i got a bad pizza. This is my idk how many order, but never have received a good quality pizza. My pizza was not even cut all the way through at all. The first photo shows The lines across didnt even match up. It’s almost like someone TRIED cutting each piece individually. The pizza was not even cut, theres just an imprint on the top of the pizza where someone “tried”. The second photo, is a piece that is not even cooked through all the way. Basically the center of the pizza is still doughhy. The 3rd photo, i dont even know what has happened. Terrible quality. And from seeing the MULTIPLE reviews about how the owner treats his employees badly, I’m just gonna order elsewhere from now on."
