"Kids Soccer Review Only (ages 3-4 and 5-6) - RARA was quick to reply to my concerns and rectified the issue with a refund. Thank you. Our kids are 3 and 5. We signed them up for the 3-4 and 5-6 soccer classes. They are beginners, with no team soccer experience. The description for the classes didn't match our experience. Beginners, NOT recommended. for the 5-6 year old group. I'd say if you're looking for a beginner class or something that is organized, don't take your kids to this. The facility is nice, however, the coach they employ seems to be more serious and assumed every kid knows how to play. They didn't do a good job incorporating a beginner into the class. For the 3-4 year old group. Parents participate, which is okay. It's all sorts of disorganized though. Typically at these you'd have the coach call everyone together, get on a knee, explain the class, what we'd be doing, introductions, etc. Nope, just a jumbled start with the only drill they had the kids do was pass the ball with your parent. Then immediately into scrimmaging. Not much fun to be had and not much actual coaching/direction."
"I'm downright discussed with the people who ran this event. We tried to go to the trunk or treat tonight and didn't realize you had to register to trick or treat. Their website sounded like you had to register for a trunk... not to bring your kid. We show up fully dressed in costumes and this straight up A hole would absolutely not let us in. There was NO ONE there... and my son was basically crying. No exceptions... this guy was the most heartless person I have ever met along with whatever women was there trying to shoo us back to our car across a busy street. I told the guy we didn't even need the candy and our son just wanted to see the decorations. I even offered to pay. Nothing. I didn't even know people like this existed. Sure it was a "ticketed" event, but given there was absolutly no one coming in or waiting and I told the guy we didnt even want their candy or to watch the performance at the end, you would think someone with half a heart would let the poor cute little sad boy just walk around for ten minutes. He told me all he wanted was for people to see his costume. Please don't let Jason Kroening use your space anymore... he puts a bad face on your business. Especially towards cute little kids. Completely unacceptable. There are such things as exceptions in life and that was such a stupid small little event that one should have been made in this instance. Sad. Karma is a bitc* Update: based on response from owner, I am going to take a wild guess and say Jason is one of the people in charge as the response sounds just as heartless as he was. And whoever that awful woman was with him probably works there too. Don't take your kids somewhere to play sports where the people who are running it don't even seem to really care about the kids feelings and just want to make a buck. There are so many other places. Lots of other negative reviews about this place as well."
"Child here for soccer. They are a total beginner. Coaches aren't the best at helping beginners. Most of the kids look lost out there. Basic skills aren't being taught except one time and it was the coach yelling the entire time that no one was doing the drill right. Seating is a joke. One set of bleachers for parents to sit on, everyone else either sits on the cold floor or stands for an hour."
"Great facilities but difficult to utilize due to poor communication. I constantly am trying to utilize the turf area and it is often closed with no one over there to unlock it although it is during open hours. When I try to call to find someone to open it the line just rings. And when I go to the open section they tell me they can’t open it for me because it’s not their job to be working on that side and I am out of luck. I renewed my membership to go there on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (website specified holiday hours, closed at 8) upon arriving at 12:30PM I was told they were closing. When I told them the specified holiday hours that were posted online and on the door, they said “Oh yeah it’s wrong we’re closed sorry you need to leave now.”"
"We recently enrolled out son in basketball at the RARA.? Just prior to the first day of practice we received the rules from the coach which are set by RARA. Basketball would consist of drills and no actually basketball since this is considered a contact sport. In addition no parents would be allowed in the building. You would drop your child at the door. Keep in mind this is for a 6 and 8 year old. The thought of leaving our child with a stranger that we don’t know and not letting any parents be there is very concerning. Perhaps the policy has changed recently. I am sure people are well vetted at RARA however as parents we have a duty and obligation to keep our kids safe. In order to clarify when we registered the front desk did not have the rules available and said email the coach. The individual running the front desk was NOT aware of the rules."
