"Great dance school! My daughter is in her second year at this studio. I love how kind and patient the instructors are. They recently moved from Birmingham to this Bloomfield location and the new studio is BEAUTIFUL!"
"This is my second year here but when I joined I was welcomed with open arms, all of the teachers are amazing and they really care about you and your dancing experience"
"My daughter is starting her third year at EDD and we couldn't be happier. The staff and teachers are kind, encouraging and extremely knowledgeable. My daughter has grown immensely in her skills and interest in dance. What an amazing place to learn!"
"My daughter has enjoyed taking virtual classes from her teachers and even dropping in some of the master classes. She has even added a new class to her already full dance schedule. Her teachers have been amazing - making it fun and entertaining while still providing great feedback to each student. I've observed a few of the classes and I see how they are providing a very unique opportunity for both teacher and student to engage one-on-one. The teachers are making sure to focus attention to each and every student. Last week, I watched Andrew teach the girls how to think about movement creatively, breaking down the movements and then bringing it all together. And this week, in less than an hour, he helped put together several counts of choreography based on improv ideas from each student. I watched Nicole do this in tap class- had the girls come up with their own rhythms and apply tap steps to them. While my daughter really misses the in-person interactions, she is still learning from classes and I see her appreciation for the art of dance continue to grow every week. THANK YOU for organizing these dance classes so quickly after the coronavirus pandemic started. Having this piece of normalcy has been a lifesaver. Dance has been a part of her life since she was four years old (and all at EDD); it would have been hard if that all ended suddenly. We are incredibly grateful that she has her EDD dance family to connect with during this time. Thank you again"
"This is my daughter's 5th year at Eisenhower Dance and she LOVES it! The instructors are great with the kids and really focus on their mission of being a dance school (not necessarily a competitive studio, although those opportunities are available if you like). It is also great to see how much the dancers in Eisenhower's professional company interact with the younger kids. They are instructors in some classes and genuinely show their excitement for the kids' accomplishments. I would recommend this studio to anyone!"
