Live fire qualification is required to complete the class, and participants will receive a Certificate of Completion to apply for their CPL with the County Clerk. The instructor, Jeff Wheeler, has extensive experience with firearms and defensive pistol training.
The classes cover USCCA's Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals course, as well as Michigan laws and responsibilities related to carrying a concealed weapon. The goal is to educate individuals on safe gun handling, conflict avoidance, and situational awareness.
Classes are held on weekdays and weekends from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and are open to individuals over 18 years old (21 years old to apply for a Michigan Concealed Pistol License). Private classes can also be arranged for family and friends. The instructor is available 7 days a week and responds within 24 hours to inquiries.
