Servant's Heart Isshinryu Karate and Kobudo

"I had always wanted to try Karate and finally went for it, and I don’t believe I could have found a better fit for a dojo. Sensei Susan and Keith not only understand all the ins and outs of the art, but are fantastic teachers as well. They are very patient and encouraging, and from what I’ve seen of the younger classes, are amazing with kids as well. Considering the pricing, (much better deals than surrounding dojo’s, I did my research!) and them even offering weapons training, this is a great option for both young and old to try. I also love the emphasis on being a student means being part of the community and giving back as being apart of their mission statement, it’s nice to see community leaders encourage this kind of sentiment."

"I like the layout, I can watch my kids practice in a comfortable separate room. Also there's great parking and the facility is clean. Sensei Susan is great with handling the class and impressively remembers everyone's name. I really like how she doesn't let my boys get away with goofing off or being lazy. She makes the kids earn their belts and I've been noticing a real improvement in my boys self discipline and confidence at home."
