"I myself am a journeyman in this sport and have been training in BJJ with my son for close to a decade. I am in the process of relocating back to Michigan and I was recommended to train here by a black belt at my gym who spent most of his career at this gym. I had the privilege of dropping in on different classes to gauge the feel and culture of the gym and different philosophies to see if it is the right fit for me. I believe that it is. The gym is clean, bathrooms and training area is well maintained. Various levels of skill and age ranges. Great instruction on the basics for self defense and competition jiu jitsu. When I finish moving back home I plan on signing up to be a member. Todd and the rest of the black belts treated me with the utmost respect and were very welcoming. I was very impressed with everything."

"They’ve reignited my love for Martial arts. Every one is super helpful and super friendly. I feel like it's a brotherhood in there. "Very cool gym. Took my daughter to the free class that they offer. She liked it but Jiu Jitsu really isn't a girly sport. She is only 6 years old. Only 2-3 girls and rest were boys although there was 1 girl there exact size of my daughter so it was funny. She enjoyed the class, but when I ask if she wants to go regularly she didn't seem excited about it. She likes gymnastics and girly activities. Pricing, in my opinion, is fantastic. You pay 1 time per month and that gets you unlimited classes (they do kids classes 3x a week). So if you took your kid(s) there 3x a week you would really get your moneys worth."
