"My wife and I took dance lessons from Jill for our 1st dance for our wedding six years ago, and loved every minute! She made it fun, and is easy to follow and learn from. It was a great bonding experience leading up to our wedding that brought us a lot of joy! After being married, we started taking group lessons, and loved having a date night that included exercise, fun and laughter. Most classes were salsa, and some included swing, waltz, and others. We recently started going to class again, as we have missed it greatly. We took a private lesson, which is always great getting the most help and instruction. But we are happy a group lesson is an option now too, since we enjoy the social aspect. We've recently taken a couple salsa classes with Jill and Art, and always learn new things. I (Megan) grew up doing ballet (my 1st love), and it's been fun to learn other kinds of dance as a couple.Thank you for being great teachers and people, and providing a healthy way to have fun! "We started lessons with Jill because we were going on a cruise and formal ballroom dance lessons seemed a good idea, so we could have fun and seem competent on the dance floor. We have continued to have lessons because we found the advice and instruction so helpful and we had fun doing it. We had some lessons years ago with another company but we stopped because my husband felt it was always so negative and he didn’t enjoy it, I can wholeheartedly say that Jill is an excellent and sympathetic instructor who always brings out the best in us. When blips happen she works out what the issue was and helps us resolve it. Those ballroom dance lessons certainly helped when we stayed at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island as well as the cruises. Two weddings coming up and those skills will be put to good use. My husband never thought he’d be doing the ‘Hustle’ so comfortably AND with some slick moves!"
