Reviews
"I wrote a review once before about how terrible the parking lot was and how dirty and awful the woman's bathroom was. Thank you so much for the beautiful redone parking lot and the painted bathroom. It also appears that more efforts are being made to keep the bathroom clean. Now the plexiglas was replaced too!! Thank you so much for what has been done to make watching soccer so much more enjoyable"
"All I can say is if you value your teams safety or fun do not come here. I got assaulted here with the cops showing up and Soccer Zone did nothing about it. They have the whole thing on footage and turned their shoulder the other way. Management does not know how to run a business and does not know how to put safety first. A police report was filed and Soccerzone Management would not assist with the problem. They do not train their refs and do not offer any assistance when it comes to their employees and handling situations. Extremely rude and dissatisfied with the whole experience. Please bring your team elsewhere as Soccerzone is not safe."
"Very poor communication from start to finish during a flag football league. Signed up and they gave me start date. Then it moved back. Then it moved back again. Only ended up with 4 teams in the league which is fine. They said we could make one request for the league and ours was to play the later game when possible because of work schedules. We played exactly 1 game in the later time slot, and we had to call to get that one moved back because it was rescheduled to earlier last minute. When paying we were given the option to roll the ref fees into our payment. So we did that. After the first two games the ref asked me for fees and I told them we rolled it into our payment up front. I asked the front desk and they say they’re not allowed to pay the refs directly….. so what was the point of rolling the fees in? I am then told that we paid for only 2 weeks of ref fees and handed $30 cash to pay the refs with… There was only one week when we had a ref that knew the rules and made calls. The other 6 weeks, there was not a single penalty called and the dude seemed like he was on a different planet. It was clear he had no training or control over what was going on. To the point that the teams would just make their own calls. The final “playoff” week was handled extremely poorly. I called multiple times and left voicemails and text messages to try to figure out when/if we would be playing. Not a single one was returned or answered. Captains were sent a text at 9:37 am on Wednesday with the schedule for that evening. By that time, it was too late for multiple players to make adjustments to their schedule to make the 6:30 game so we were forced to forfeit due to not having enough guys. I almost guarantee the other team was not notified and showed up to play at 6:30. Lastly, in a 4 team playoff, they had the 1 seed playing the 3 seed and the 2 seed playing the 4 seed. Not that it really matters that much, but was just the icing on the cake and further proof that there is no training or detail in Soccer Zones work. Maybe they take their soccer leagues more serious, or are more focused on renting out space for practices etc… Regardless, don’t sign up to play here with the expectation that things will run smoothly , because they will not."
"Average facility, playing fields are kept in fairly good shape, games are kept on schedule, refereeing is generally good with some exceptions. The lowest grades go to poor cleanliness of the facility and the surprisingly pothole ridden parking lot. Vehicles with low ground clearance can easily be damaged."
"Has fallen off of a cliff in terms of competence since I was a kid and seems like the owners haven't done any upkeep since it's inception. Cannot build leagues or fill out teams which to be fair is a player count issue but that's something management should be attempting to rectify. They did not make sure that enough players were even on a roster for 6v6 and created teams and a league. So it seems they do no cross checking or "quality control". Nor do they make sure refs are there for the games. Employee Patti is awesome tho. Only reason for the extra star given. I'm sure the owners are pulling in what they want while paying these ladies/gents minimum wage and not caring at all about the facility or if operations are running smoothly or not. If you are choosing between here and kingdom save your time and money and go to the latter. And I am not one to complain whatsoever. I'll roll with the punches and always give plenty of benefit of the doubt but man... This was just.. pathetic/incompetent to an incredulous degree. I just wanted to play some soccer man :("
