They deny every claim saying it is not something that is covered when it states very clearly in my policy that it is covered. When you call to speak to a representative they are impossible to understand because of background noise and the inability to speak clear English."

Now I'm up to my eyeballs in debt for an elective procedure I would have never had if I knew it was out of pocket. They played games so long I finally had to setup a payment plan with Spectrum Health or be sent to collections. Scumbags"

"Terrible, unethical insurance company. They do not cover standard practices they say they cover in your policy, and should be investigated by every government agency available for fraud. Worthless, biased appeal process that only has a goal of further denying your claim. If you’re thinking about children, get another insurance company first because you will pay out of pocket for literally everything. Don’t waste your money, you’re better off not having any insurance."
