"For me this is the quintessential Northeast Wisconsin BBQ experience. Not that we have a history of such an experience. What I’m saying is that it starts here. Primal Eats is the gold standard. The environment pulls you into the Northern Wisconsin woodsy feeling of welcome and comfort. Big friendly smiles with your service and incredible patience. Families of all sizes sitting and laughing truly enjoying the experience and feel of the northern cabin club vibe of their dining hall. The food was fantastic and served on metal trays and paper in a traditional BBQ style. The bar next door serves fantastic drinks. Once you’re done eating you can wander their expansive grounds and digest while you take in the woods and gorgeous outdoor sitting areas. I will be back again and again. I’m truly in love with this place. For me it’s a dream come true. P.S. even though it’s not a supper club. To truly enjoy this place plan to set aside some time to really take it in. For me the true experience is to take a few hours and take everything in at lest the first time you come. Live music on Friday and Saturdays."

"We went here for the first time and I tell you what, 10 out of 10. Place was jam packed but still a short wait. Food was phenominal we had brisket mac n cheese, pulled pork mac n cheese, 3 meat pizza, brisket slices, nachos for our group and portion sizes were huge with amazing flavor. They have a tap wall where you can pour your own beer. Huge shout out to the owner Scott and his family. He walked around to all the tables and when we told him it was our first time he gave us a tour of the smokers and kitchen and gave us the whole background to the history and that everything is homemade. Not pre-made from vendors. Even have R&D for all their food to make sure its good quality. Also decorated everywhere with fire pits going outside. Live GREAT music. Definatly going back and bringing more people. Over an hour from home but well worth the trip for dinner. Great job! Recommend to anyone."

"This is such an amazing experience!! The whole outdoor atmosphere is amazing. With hammocks and tons of picnic tables, bean bags, connect 4, swing set for kids! There was live music and a bonfire when we visited. The inside was very cool and I felt like I was literally down south getting BBQ! Had the meat lovers pizza and pulled pork mac and cheese it was incredible! Also super cool serve yourself beer taps with lots of beer options and a self serve ice cream stand outside. We can't wait to come back and to send our friends and family here! Oh also super cool to watch the deer in the back walking around! Also pretty good portions for the price! I did spy Gluten free items on the menu too!"
