"We had the BEST riding experience this morning! Absolutely gorgeous ride through the Mackinaw State Forest with a very friendly, warm and welcoming guide! You are immersed in the majesty of northern MI at Maple Ridge, unlike many other horseback riding options available that stick to well traveled roads, trails and fields. The horses were wonderful and made it very easy to feel like we were lifelong riding pals. The guides tailor the ride to your riding experience and we were able to enjoy several stretches of trotting and even a nice canter or two since we did not have beginners in our group. We will absolutely be back! Wish we lived closer! Thank you for having us!"

"Saturday July 15, 2023 went for a horse back ride at Maple Ridge Stables. Had a blast, kiddo and girl friend loved it as much as I did. Only heads up half way through trail might come across an active dirt bike trail. We did.....spooked couple horses including mine which trotted on us but got them under control but did real good. I think personally they need to put signs up on each end of trail to let the riders know theirs a horse ride going on and need to wait it out till it's over then take down the signs after the trail ride is over. Just scared of the kids on horses that's never rode before. Other then that I loved it, plan on being back whether or not about dirt bike trail..... they take their job serious and professional. Keep up the good work and once again thank you. Penny and her staff did a fabulous job with their customer service. I'm very pleased and satisfied for their expertise."

"My fiancé & I did a trail ride as part of our trip up north. The guide was super sweet & professional, & knowledgeable . We really loved seeing the horses and the animals on the property. "Penny and her staff are phenomenal! Do not believe any negative reviews you see as they are obviously fake. My daughters enjoyed their ride immensely. I have twin 15 yeast olds and a 7 yeast old who the rising wad mainly for. Penny stayed with her the whole time and was very attentive to her. We will definitely be going back and telling all of pr friends how great they are there!!!"
