"Has a policy with them for a year and then recieved an email letting me know that my policy had lapsed and my boat was currently uninsured. Didn't receive a single email notification or phone call from anyone letting me know I was up for renewal which was surprising as you'd think they would want to retain their customer's business. Called up in response to the email and was told I should have recieved a letter in the mail and met with nothing but arrogance about the entire situation. They propose a solution to reinsure the boat which coincidentally came with a 30% price increase. Funny business model! Called my local home insurance agent who then turned around an identical policy 15% lower than what I paid for year 1 of Global's policy and 33% lower than their proposed year 2 price. Morale of the story, go with the local insurance agency that wants your business, not the one that rolls your eyes at you when they lose it."

"Gary and his crew have been our go to boat insurance since 1993. Highly recommend a real marine policy over a homeowners type. There is a big difference on what's covered. You don't know until its too late. Happy boating with coverage and a broker you can trust."
