Reviews of Animal Emergency Hospital
"I had to bring my dog here when she cut her paw open running in the woods. The women working the front desk were beyond amazing, they were so kind and caring. They were extremely accommodating to my dog reactive dog, making sure she was safe and comfortable. They even went out of their way to find me a phone charger because I forgot to grab one. They could not have been more sweet. We met up with the Vet, Dr. Ricketts, and he was incredible as well. Very comforting and calming, answered all of our questions, and was very patient with us. Very empathetic. I hope I don’t ever have to, but if I’m in an emergency with a pet, I will definitely be going straight to this facility. The entire experience and the whole staff were beyond incredible. And I’ve had my fair share of pets and experiences at different veterinarian offices in the area. I would highly, highly recommend this facility!"
"The doctors and staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. They have helped us on three different occasions over the past year with emergency situations. This last visit ended up with our cat having to stay multiple days and nights. There was constant communication and photos, which helped greatly, knowing he was getting the best help possible. Here are two of the photos they sent during his stay. He came home and recovered fully. Thank you for all you do, Dan"
"i cannot say enough good things. i have zero complaints. i brought my chonk cat max in because he is diabetic and his sugar got dangerously low. they stabilized him, ran blood work, took an extensive history, gave me a thorough treatment plan, and sent me on my way in 2.5 hours. not to mention, the waiting room was full and people were even waiting outside. he was kept over night and all of the PM staff were amazing and gave him cuddles and love. both vets i worked with answered all of my questions, and there were plenty. i left feeling confident to care for him until i could see my normal vet. i am so grateful i have a closer and better emergency vet hospital if something happens in the future."
"My baby girl, Jo Jo, was 16 yrs old. She was a rescue, and with us for 13 years. She was losing control of her back legs, and finally, she couldn't walk. We had to make a hard decision, and we sought out Animal Emergency Hospital in Burton. I called, and immediately knew this was the place that was going to take the best care of my baby, and us. It was if they knew her, and loved her. They made her comfortable and offered us tremendous support. They gave hugs, and were so gentle with our baby. Words cannot express how thankful I am to all the staff."
"Making the decision to put your furry friend down is hard. Our cat, Mister, took a turn for the worse and went downhill fast. I didn’t think he was going to make it through Saturday night, but he did. We couldn’t watch him suffer. He wasn’t eating or drinking and could barely walk. Since it was a Sunday Animal Emergency Hospital was our only option. From the front desk staff, to the techs, to the vet…all staff were kind and caring. We did not have to wait long to get into a room and we were given as much time as we needed with our little guy. The vet was soft spoken and told us exactly what he was doing and what would happen. We left with his paw print. We took him home and they wrapped him up in a burial bag for us. He’s now buried in our yard. Today, we received a sympathy card in the mail. It’s truly the small things in life that make the most impact. Their compassion and professionalism was outstanding during a very difficult time."
