"In twenty five years of dealing with medication resistant bipolar I Dr. Henike is far and away the most qualified, caring, and truly compassionate psychiatrist I have ever had. I can honestly say that her experience as a pharmacologist/psychiatrist actually saved my life. When I first saw her I was in a very verbally abusive and controlling relationship with my son's father. She not just stuck with me to find meds that actually helped, but counseled me in an empowering way that gave me hope to keep trying to get well. She is a true healer. When I could not afford medicines, she found samples or helped me to sign up for patient assistance programs through the manufacturers. It is so very rare in this field to find such a healer that truly listens, and cares for you as an individual.
