"I don’t usually write reviews, but after reading some of the reviews about the receptionist Dawn, I had to also share my story. I have never been spoken so terribly by someone in an office setting. She was condescending, insensitive, and for working at an IVF clinic she had zero sympathy for the situation I was in. My husband scheduled an appointment with them for an analysis. The receptionist told him the appointment was 12/27. I called this past week wondering if there was any way I could move up the appointment. She said he missed his appointment, we are now charged a missed appointment fee, and she will no longer honor the coupon my doctor gave us to help us with the financial aspect of this test due to it being so close to Christmas. I began to cry because it really was a misunderstanding. I tried to explain to her that we were told the wrong date. She accused me of lying and I even told her we did not get any sort of reminder text or call. I can’t believe this office has someone working there who has zero sympathy for anyone especially people who are trying really hard to build a family. I am here to voice my story with this women because I ended the call crying and completely devastated that someone would speak to me the way she did and laugh at what I was going through and imply we should be more responsible. Especially when the person scheduling the appointment told us December, not November. At first I was not angry because people make mistakes. But after her accusations and comments towards me, I can confidently say I will never go to this office again. I talked to my doctor about this and she is referring me to a new clinic. If you want kindness and respect and sympathy this is not the place to go because how you are treated by the receptionist staff says a lot about how they feel about their patients."

"This office doesn’t seem to respect its patients’ time. Told to arrive for blood test at 7:30 am when they open. Arrive early, call from parking lot to enter and told they already have a full waiting room. Slept in the car for an hour before called back to enter building. Then more waiting in the waiting room. This was not the first such incident. Do better."

"I was misdiagnosed by IVF Michigan and Dr. Starostanko which caused me and my husband to spend thousands of dollars on fertility treatments that would've never worked for us. We even sent them the findings from my surgery with my new Doctor showing they misdiagnosed me and they never offered any reimbursement or anything to make the situation right. The front desk ladies, Dawn and Laura are also extremely rude and not empathetic and should not work in a setting with highly vulnerable people. We highly recommend RMA of Michigan and Dr. Wolf and Dr. Miller, they are amazing and were able to accurately diagnose me. Do not waste your time or money here. We are most definitely looking into taking legal action."

"I had such a wonderful experience at IVF Michigan, Macomb. It is an emotional rollercoaster trying to conceive, but this clinic is worth the call! Every time you call, you get a welcoming greeting by Lora and Dawn. They are always warm and sweet on the phone. My first appointment with Dr. Star was virtual, and I could tell that she had actually reviewed all my info prior to our appt. She was kind, informative, and empathetic. From there I went on to treatments and had the pleasure of working with Shannon, a great nurse, for most of my appts. Thankfully after only two rounds of IUI I had a positive pregnancy test! I know that was due to the diligence and expertise of the staff at IVF Macomb. I am thankful to all of the staff for helping us through one of the most difficult journeys a family can go through. You won’t regret giving them a call!"
