"AVOID this place. My husband goes here For his medication and to say this place is unprofessional is an understatement. I don't know if they train there receptionist or not but they clearly have no idea what to do. They have messed with his mental health in ways I can't even explain. First we call no one answers, then we show up and the door is locked while open with a receptionist starting at us for 5 minutes. She didn't open the door till we walked away. They have caused him to be off his meds for a month straight. He will be switching places and I ask you to not waste your time with this place."

"I saw Jean Terry and she was amazing. She always listened to me and got back to me with any questions or concerns that I had. I came to her in a very bad state and by the time I finished treatment I was able to live a happy life again and go back to work. Now, 4 years later I can proudly say that I am a mom now, happily married and working as a physician assistant. These are things I never thought I would have. If it wasn’t for the care I received here, I would not be where I am today. Thank you for helping me during a very difficult time in my life."

"We see Petrina Allor and have also met with Dr. Mekhael. She has been wonderful and very understanding. My kiddo is a complicated case but she continues to work with us and brainstorm the best options for him. She listens to me and even takes my thoughts and ideas into account when treating my son. Thankfully I have been able to contact her after hours when we are in crisis mode as well. We appreciate her support and care!"

"I had a terrible experience and would not recommend this office to anyone. My NP did not seem to listen to me or care to call me back quickly, sometimes I was waiting days for a response while I was in crisis. I was not properly educated about the side effects and risks of the medications I was being put on. My NP prescribed me Lamictal without telling me that it makes oral birth control less effective, putting me at risk for pregnancy against my will. I ended up needing to attend further treatment at an outpatient facility, where the doctors took one look at the list of meds I had taken in the last two years and told me never to go back to my psych again. Cannot believe the way I was treated and neglected as a patient. Stay away if you know what is good for you. EDIT: to clarify, I was recommended outpatient facility by both my therapist and my psych, and when it came time to get the name of a facility, it took DAYS for my psych to call me back. My life was at risk and thanks to my therapist at the Rochester center for behavioral medicine, I was ok. The response they gave me for this review takes no accountability and I am baffled that the JC center stays in business."

"Dr. Mekhael is very professional and exceptionally good at what he does with a deep understanding to each individuals needs. I’ve been a patient of his for probably 10 years or more now so I can tell you through personal experiences he’s a very friendly happy Doctor who cares about helping his patients. His office staff is also awesome and understanding and if you ever have a problem they are always willing to help resolve. Debra I feel is the life line to the operation, and my go to if I ever need anything or have any problems with bill or making payments. I regrettably recommend him to anyone in need of psychological help. I only say regrettably because the more new patients he gets the hard it is to see him with his busy schedule these days. For those who might wonder, I have never had any issues with the staff protecting my privacy."
