"Very friendly. Even more important, they are solidly based upon the Bible."
"Solid exposition of Gods Word for each service. Genuine people who love God and care for his people. Services are interpreted for the deaf, and provide child care for each service. Very family friendly!!"
"Very old church, which I don’t have a problem with, but they preached things that aren’t even biblical. The pastor spent a long time on three unrelated topics, (never ever lie under any circumstance, music can be inherently good or bad even without lyrics, and something else equally unrelated that I can’t remember). I basically didn’t agree with anything he said, especially with how just the notes of music can be inherently bad (basically catering to a crowd that’s still alarmed at rock music). The people were very friendly and warm, but I have a feeling that “young” people would be quickly put in their place if they tried to voice an opinion. It has a culture of legalism and extra-biblical preaching in its teachings and I think that’s very toxic to the Christian faith. It’s a shame because I really wanted to love this church since it’s close to my house and we could get involved in serving very easily."
"Not very many young people here at all. I tried to become a member and i was denied that honor. Also I was hurt when an older woman non-nonchalantly told me in prayer group I shouldn't be speaking because I was "young" and didn't really know what I was talking about. I believe there is a scripture that says dont let others look down on you because your young, but I was to intimidated to stick up for myself in this group setting where others seemed please with her rebuke on me for being "young"."
