BMC Urgent Care-MI

"I called ahead of time to make an appointment and they said they don’t take appointments it’s walking only but you have to be there before 3 PM. I drove there got there before 3 PM and the lady at the front desk tells me all the doctor just left and I’m like well why did you guys tell me I had to be here before 3 PM and when I arrive there they can’t help me. Very unprofessional and I’m irritated that I had to drive here and wasted my time While I’m sick."

"DO NOT go to this urgent care. I was prescribed medication I didn’t need and didn’t take. Ended up in emergency 3 days later with Covid while they tried treating me for a sinus infection. They didn’t check me for anything no Covid test or blood work. Just called me back and prescribed meds all within 5 mins then sent me out. Receptionist staff are also very unprofessional."

"Absolutely rude front desk! When I arrived, the single person "female" was on her cell phone on a personal call. She saw me standing at the front desk for 3 full minutes before even addressing me. Once she did, it was rude. I was attempting to have my son seen, I asked if the practice sees children, as it is addressed as a "Family Medical Center," otherwise I would never have stopped in, and the website says it's an urgent care center. I provided her the notice from my son's school where it detailed his accident, she was unable to formulate a complete sentence, then she started trying to diagnosis from merely the paperwork I handed to her, and never even attempted to go and seek guidance from a physician or nurse. I told her never mind, ask for my paperwork to be returned, and I left with my son. I do not recommend going to this place, especially since the front desk is so inadequate."

"I went there with to get a refill on my medication It was a convenient location for me. I didn’t really need a check up, but the doctor decided to give me a generic one. She shoved that ear thing in my ear is so hard it hurts so bad her bedside manner was terrible. She prescribed me medication that I didn’t need and didn’t even take. The thing I did like is that they have a pharmacy inside the office and I didn’t have to wait long for my medication the pharmacist was very nice."

"It seems that the doctor is never there and the receptionist is not great with communication or what so ever. The nurse practitioner is the only saving grace of why this place isn't closed yet."
