"I have a debilitating back issue and have been using DMC. I got bad news and called the office to ask about it. JENNIFER answered the phone and was so rude, mean and unprofessional it had me in tears and she didn't care or help in any way. A terrible person that should not be able to deal with people that have health issues."
"To my surgeons have left there my experience is bad but I did not give them enough time to give them a chance rating is unfair at this time"
"The 5-star rating is for the doctors, not any of the staff. The staff are horrible. I blame DMC Sinai-Grace administration for the deterioration in this office. The mature, professional staff in this office were replaced w/young, silly, lazy, immature girls. Admin took fired the only xray tech in this office. They got rid of the only RN in this office. This is what happens when you put children in charge, who lack professional skills. My heart goes out to all of the physicians that had to ENDURE the last group of silly, lazy young girls DMC surely got for pennies on the dollar. I watched when a doctor did the work the front office/desk was supposed to be doing. They would sit and watch TV. Why couldn't DMC find and hire qualified staff? Because it was about the salaries of the CEOs. Health care has gone to the dogs. Yet, I see that dogs get better care, today, than humans. And, the people making the decisions on staffing and pairing these unprofessional individuals with these doctors need to be given the boot. Greed by upper management and boards have destroyed the health care industry. God bless the doctors that worked, gave their all, and serviced the patients that came through those doors. May they find work at more professional establishments. And to the young, unqualified "girls" that caused the fall of this office, go back to school and take some classes on ettiquette and customer service."
"To whom it may concern, I apologize for reaching out regarding such unfortunate circumstances. However, I feel it to be my prerogative. I had an appointment to visit the Farmington Hills office tomorrow, Thursday, May 11th, at 2 PM. This appointment would have been my first assessment for a hip issue I've been experiencing for the last few years. In addition, that appointment would have been my first appointment with your practice. I had hoped to find a resolution for my malady. When your office called me this afternoon, I was in the dentist's chair and could not answer my phone. So, as ordinary people would, I let the call go to my voicemail. But unfortunately, the woman called again shortly after, and as it were, I was still unable to talk as I was in the middle of receiving dental care. Once leaving the dentist's office, I checked my voicemail and saw no messages left. So, as any normal person would do, I called the office number back. This is where my complaint starts. I have never had a more unprofessional, disrespectful, and mannerless interaction with someone from a medical provider's front office. I do not know the woman's name, but I assume she may have been Caucasian. I understand my voicemail, though humorous, is not everyone's cup of tea. I know how hearing that voicemail may be shocking or even insulting to someone with no sense of humor or perhaps differing humor. However, my voicemail and her feelings towards it do not excuse, dismiss, or justify her treatment, attitude, or unprofessionalism when I returned the call. Whoever she is, she is utterly tactless, uncouth, and rather gauche. I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow. Unfortunately, I no longer have an appointment with your practice tomorrow. Her attitude, unprofessionalism, and incompetence persuaded me to promptly cancel my appointment at the conclusion of our conversation. I will be asking my doctor to refer me to another practice immediately. I will not be back to your office and will be referring anyone requesting recommendations to another facility. That type of reception is utterly unacceptable for a medical provider and their practice. I understand that this may not be overly concerning to you. I understand that someone not currently under your care may be at the bottom of your priorities. However, I encourage you to seek better temperament from your front desk staff as interactions between personnel and clientele are imperative to the medical profession and your business. The second woman, who called me back after my interaction with the aforementioned person, was phenomenal. I assume this woman may have been of African American heritage. She was wonderful, kind, sweet, and understanding. Thank you for your time regarding this, and good luck to you and your practice. Greg Lomason"
"I Highly Recommend Dr Cooke. He is awesome to work with! He’s been up front and honest with me along my whole journey with multiple knee issues. I’m a very active person and he has helped me make the best decisions regarding my care. He doesn’t push surgery as I have experienced in my past with other orthopedic surgeons. He did operate on my knee but planned it around my travels and activities so I didn’t have to miss out on what is important to me."
