"I won't give 1 star-because the male doctor is truly amazing to my friend. My issue with Dr. Ponduri was that she wasn't on board with trying to figure out what is happening to me or which autoimmune I have. I really hurt a lot. She accused me of being a drunk. Which I snswered truthfully about all the things I do. I am over 21 btw. 55 years old.. I am not daft and would not mix any medications with alcohol- I, for one, want to live. I felt as if she needed me to feel small.. When you've tried everything over the counter and natural. A glass of wine or drink calms you for a little bit. I never get sick or drink to incompassitation. She was treating me like I was insignificant. My skin is a mess. Lots of symptoms. At the rate we were going I wouldn't know anything until 2050. I was gas lit by her twice. Which I ended up reading is common to have happen to you as a woman in your 50- 60's. If you have any anxiety- she wants to direct you to mental help. Which I already received 4 years of counseling, which she ignored.. The Medicaid Michigan places that over counseling and psychiatrists, some dont even have psychiatrists- just nurse practitioners. It only takes a domestic violence survivor so far. I don't have the time to have a case manager, a nurse practitioner, and so on. I care for my mom and really am learning to balance time for me. Besides, if you have ever went to one of those places for fight or flight. They do not have any doctors who have enough or any real education for what I need. All those psychiatrists are making the big bucks and don't work for Medicaid patients. Somehow I know she knows this. I went as far as I could go in that system. *Silver lining- I have started to be more proactive and self advocate.. Learning about my own physical health issues. Tbh, once you start to understand how the body works, what it needs, and what works- it can be very empowering. I am making a lot of headway and joined a few studies at the U of M, starting in 2024. To learn more about what I can do for me and it will help other in the future. I do have the time for that, because it gets down to the physical issues that can help me. Our brains are complicated..I'd like to know more about fight or flight and trauma, how to prevent the insomnia, anxiety, the rashes, night terrors, panic attacks, and the cortsol issues. Sleep paralysis, all these terrorize me 16+ hours a day. I don't sleep much.. The switch is stuck on in my brain. No relief. Make sure when you choose a PCP, that you don't feel depressed, dread, oppressed, and upset everytime it comes close to your visit- and instead find one who makes you feel good to be there.. ❤ and heard. Especially if you know, like me, that its high time you are. The 5 stars as I mentioned is due to the care my close dear friend receives there by the other doctor. And I am not about to just go to a doctor every month to be torched and belittled. Thank you all. I have a picture from earlier this year I want to add. "Amazing drs. Dr Boppana always takes time to listen. He has an amazing bedside manor and always has taken timevto explain things to my family when i ended up in hospital."

"Have seen both Docs here, they are Brother n Sister, personally I see Dr Pondori as she listen more closely to her patient's. The great thing about the practice is that if you have an urgent need they work to get you in ASAP sometimes even the same day. Added bonus is the fact that all of the workers (nurses, receptionists, file clerks...all of them) work to make ur visit plesent and treated with respect n care. If your looking for a PCP then give them a shot. Good day."
