"I have used this practice for years, and while they have some great doctors, this last trip was lacking for service. I arrived yesterday and waited in a room for close to an hour before seeing the doctor. I was advised they were running behind. I received an antibiotic and was told I needed a CT, was NOT told that it was Stat. I received these stat results almost 24 hours ago, confirming i have a kidney stone, and have yet to be able to speak to a doctor about them. After giving them a chance to contact me, I called them only to not receive a callback after 40 minutes. I then called back, and got in touch with someone who could only send a message to the doctor and told me to just wait. Lastly, a recent development in my test results dictates my prescribed antibiotics useless but I haven't been told to stop them. I asked to speak to an Office Manager 2x, and was disconnected once and gave up after the long hold on the last time. There is no way to speak to a supervisor or escalate your issues. Just an update: I had to call again this morning to finally talk to someone, who stated I needed to go to the ER. Another update: Spoke to Kathy who could only tell me she didn't know why I hadn't been contacted, and was very confrontational and made excuses for everything. She tried to tell me they hadn't gotten the results that were posted to my chart, and then also said they have too many patients to keep track of (BIG RED FLAG.) I unfortunately will have to look for a new office"

"I was in a panic after my son had a fall roller skating. Danyelle the receptionist calmed my nerves and got me right in. She charged my phone as it was at 1% and figured out my insurance info. Everyone treated my son with compassion and care. Dr. Conner made him laugh & comfortable when he had tears in his eyes due to the fear of getting stitches. He made sure he got proper X-rays. The X ray tech brought him back 2x as we noticed another area of swelling. Another physician took him to get a popsicle after his little procedure. Little did I know that I walked in 5 minutes before closing time (which I probably wouldn’t have done if I wasn’t in such a panic). In fact I wouldn’t have known at all by the way the team treated us until I looked at my phone. This was my second urgent care as the first one turned me down per receptionist and the physician didn’t even lay eyes on my sons cut that required 3 stitches. I highly recommend this place. I’m a Health Care professional and was very impressed. My son Hendricks wants to make his own review and say thank you to the doctors."
"My overall rating for IHA midwives and nursing staff is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. However I am rating based on a situation I had within the past two weeks with IHA Pediatrics. I have been calling and trying to get my 2 year old Daughter seen by our primary ped Dr. Victoria. She has been coughing consistently as as I call them having "coughing spells". So bad that she will have a fever later in the coughing stage and what would also result to spotting and vomiting. Our ped stated after seeing her that as long as she didn't have those symptoms when she saw her she was ok. She also had rapid breathing and it was shallow with wheezing. I've tried emergency rooms and insurance doctors who hasn't seen her to get some help. Our Ped also said if there was another issue to call the hotline to get in touch with her. My daughter had the coughing spells again with vomiting and fever. Everything came back. Spoke to Dr. Tostoe @ 5am on Sunday mornin who was the doctor on call. I called back to let them know the symptoms returned.9/25. Dr. Tostoe who was oncall answered the phone rude and sarcastic. She was not personable and after the conversation I felt like I bothered her at her inconvenience. She spoke to me as if I was imcompentent. I saw Beaumont Urgent care later that day after I was displayed with service. She diagnosed my child. Checked her lungs and ears. And ran tests. Tests that should have been taken at IHA with my child. I've been with IHA for over 6 years and with the situation I am very disappointed in the lack of bedside manner that was performed to a mom who called seeking advice from a licensed medical doctor. I am also displeased with the lack thoroughness in this situation. There was no initiatives in taking action to see if these issues have subsides or not."
