Southeast Michigan Ear, Nose, and Throat

"The staff are so nonchalant and have no sense of urgency. I have come here twice and this is the second time I've sat in the lobby for more than 30 minutes and waited to be seen. I make appointments so that I can carry out the rest of my day ie going to work. Planning appointments almost 3/4 months in advanced based upon THEIR schedules and availability. Only to have to sit in the lobby well past my appointment time and watch as people come and go around me. The first time was my fault I scheduled for 9:45 and knew I had to be to work at 10:45, so I left after not being seen for 38 minutes. Today, my appointment was scheduled for 9:15 and I am currently still sitting here and it is now 9:45. It's inconsiderate and annoying that the staff here overbook to the point that they are not able to see clients at their adequate time. I've wasted gas, time, and energy coming back and forth here, and I have yet to be taken to the back and seen. Disappointed and aggravated."

"I like to share my experience with Dr. Christopher Metz I had a severe nose bleed, went to the ER five times. Nobody could able to figure it out until I came see the doctor. Metz super confident knows his work got right to the point got me in for surgery week after I feel much better change my life I highly recommend for anyone to come see him"

"For anyone out there looking for a GREAT ENT Dr. Look no further. Dr. Mark Toma, is by far one of the best, if not the best in the state. I couldn’t breathe from my nose in idk how many years. Deviated septum and always having sinus issues. From the beginning he was so caring, informative and sensitive to his patients. His bed side manner is beyond. If only all dr’s had his talent, skill and bedside manner, we’d have a different perspective on how we view going to the dr’s. or the stress of finding a good one. If I could give anyone advise…. If you’re contemplating if it’s worth surgery to breathe better…it’s a life changer. I sleep so well, and I know longer have sinus issues! Surgery today and by this amazing ENT… is not like the past. I’m serious guys, check him out for yourself. I would and have recommended him to my family and friends. Speaking of which, my daughter just had her 1week follow up after her surgery as well. Her first words after removing the nasal packs were” oh my God, thank you so much”, I can breathe. It’s been 2 years now and I still think about how he changed the quality of my life! I thank my lucky stars"

"Dr. Mark Toma who did my children's adnenoids and tubes was great! No issues with him and found him to be friendly. The follow up experience has been awful. We cannot WAIT to be done with this office. The wait is always long. They have changed what they said several times regarding when drops are needed. When calling for a question/needing a prescription due to ears draining they are never actually sent in. I'm not confident the PA Leena Ammori knows what she's talking about. She has contradicted herself several times during a visit. Had two other kids who had tubes and adenoids out through UofM and only came here when we couldn't get the youngest seen in a timely matter for tubes. I am a nurse practitioner myself and every interaction I've had at this office regarding my children comes across as a ploy for billables $$$. Would not recommend to our family and friends due to how difficult every follow up has been."

"Dr. Metz is an amazing surgeon and doctor. He is always so kind, courteous, professional and down right exceptional at what he does! I absolutely love this doctor. Did I mention he is also very handsome. He is the best ENT ever!"
