"Dr.Rao is so rude to parents it’s unbelievable. I asked why my daughter hadn’t been referred to specialist before now due to her past history the doctor never read my child’s medical history when she got transferred to the clinic. Since I don’t have primary guardianship she now refuses to let me come to my daughters apt even though I have given them all paperwork showing I have rights to my daughter they expect me to get something non writing from the court. She keeps threatening to drop my daughter from her clinic now that she knows her father and I are no longer together. When my daughter complained about the hour we spent in the waiting room and the 53 mintutes it took waiting in the room she replied she has a lot of patients and they are good ones because they do what she says she then told me not to smile or smirk on her office or I could find a new office knowing she’s the only place that accepts state insurance in big rapids for pediatric care."

"Dr. Rao refuses to treat any and all children whose parents don’t agree with her views. My wife was told we cannot bring our children to their practice anymore. Due to their contradicting policy that states “Pediatricians are committed to the care of all children.” Yet, they refuse to allow us to continue to bring our children because we didn’t make the decision to vaccinate in their time frame. However, we were not given vaccination information to help inform us of the benefits and risks of vaccinations."

"Used to love this place but it has went down hill majorly. They keep accepting patients but cant take care of the ones they have. My child has had blood protein and high blood cell red and white in her urine along with deformed ears and they wont do further testing so I then decided to switch pediatricians but wanted her shots first since I was waiting on transcripts to be transferred and they canceled her appointments without notifying me and when I called to check her in they were VERY rude over the phone saying it wasn’t their fault I switched pediatricians which I understand but they could have notified me of cancellation! My daughters hands and feet were turning purple as well and she said it was completely normal and wouldn’t give me a referral or listen to me at all or watch the whole video of them being purple. Finally got a referral after one of the nurses spoke up and cardiologist told me it was not what my pediatrician said it was (bad circulation) It wasnt life threatening but better safe then sorry. Don’t recommend."

"Dr roa is the worst dr i have ever seen. I told her my ex wife and me got divorced. She snapped at me and yelled " we dont get involved in costady so dont bring it here or ill discharge your son ". All i had said was we were divorced and she was working so i brought him. I got no paper work about the visit or what was wrong. I was not told the medication she was sending for my child even after i asked 3 seprate times. I called to address my concerns about the med issue and the rudeness to a miss "kitty". And saod i did NOT want to talk to roa about it. And she called rao over and put her on the phone anyways. These drs are not very nice. They are rude...and even the pharmacist i called to ask about his med said the dr did NOT do her job and needs to be retrained."

"There was an appointment I couldn't make that was scheduled by my ex. I asked her to reschedule and she refused. I called the office and talked to a nurse who informed me that if you want to know what is said by the Dr you need to be here. I feel the nurse in question was intentionally alienating me from the appointment. The Dr is very good and straightforward which I appreciate, the nurse in question was very unprofessional."
