Reviews of Pine Rest Neuromodulation Clinic -ECT/TMS
"The staff is absolutely amazing! I went for ECT, and everyone was very kind and did a good job at answering any questions I had. Everything was nice, organized, and clean. They did a lot to make sure I was comfortable, they even give patients a warm blanket, while they are waiting for their treatment."
"Staff is kind, caring and compassionate. We were informed that it is not a first come-first served clinic. Some people will take priority for medical reasons (i.e. diabetics as they have fasted for the anesthesia and need to eat ASAP.) PERFECTLY UNDERSTANDABLE! Treatment has worked - literally a lifesaver for my daughter. I’m so thankful to have this resource in our community."
"My wife and I have been visiting this clinic for about 5 weeks at this point. Let me start by saying that the staff that deal directly with the patients (ie. nurses and nurse assistants, front desk staff) are kind, careing, quick and effective. However management appears to be non existent at times. The clinic on google says they open at 730. The first time we went we were in the doors of the office at 7:30. At that point we waited over 2 hours before being called back to see the doctor then, another 2 hours until the therapy began (not exaggerating timeline). Since that day, we were told we could come at 6:30am after I complained as I work and can not wait 4 hours per day to see a doctor. When asked if we could make an appointment we were told no... however no matter who I asked no one could tell me why. Every other doctors offices make appointments. So clearly appointments work good in a medicinal business aspect. Moving on, Every time since we have arrived at 6:30 on the dot. Unfortunately for us even though the doors open at 6:30 you must wait at minimum a half hour for them to finish the staff/team meeting. Then, for instance today, it’s 8am as I write this review, when we came in, we had only 2 people in line in front of us and 4 people have gone into treatment before us. Seems as though if you have a wheel chair or come by a “care van” you are seen first. By all means I am a human being and understand certain people are handicap and don’t have means to drive themselves or walk themselves. This is not an excuse for them to be given priority. Humans are humans. They can wait in turn like we did. Overall, my complaint is based upon the lack of time management Of the staff and the blantent prioritization of patients which I find disrespectful. The treatment seems to be working. Which is wonderful. But talking with my wife. She doesn’t shy in letting me know the time waiting in the uncomfortable waiting rooms and beds, and the stress of seeing others being deemed “more important” then her is almost to the point where it isn’t worth her time in treatment. In addition the doctors (the physiatrist and anesthesiologists) who actually provide the treatment are absolutly horrendous at making it on time. As we all know, Michigan roads can definitely make us late. However, as stated, we have been going for 5 weeks. The doctors are consistently late; snow or not. They seem to leisure in between 7-8:30 depending on how they’re feeling that day. There’s no consistency. My rant is over, simply wanted our experience with the ECT clinic known."
