"Never do an after visit phone call. Billed insurance 212 dollars for a 2 minute call."
"Ive been seeing Westshore Urology since 2021 following a bladder cancer diagnosis, and with surgical procedures, subsequent treatment and eventually a radical cystectomy, along with on-going follow-ups, it all means I've seen them ALOT in the last 3 and a half-ish years. In particular Dr Jessica Phelps and her wonderful staff - shout-out to Amber and Samantha in particular, nicest nurses ever! - though I've had dealings with other doctors at this practice due to ER visits or others doctors being on call or whatever. I can say with all sincerity that Dr Phelps has always been professional, attentive, compassionate, skilled, friendly - all the things you hope a physician can be. (Because of my age and health history, ive dealt with a lot of medical professionals, and I can say unequivocally that she is by far my favorite.) Every doctor at this office that I have had contact with has been pleasant and quick to assist me. The office staff in general has been kind and patient, and even with the number of times I've been there, ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes, if that, to be called back to an exam room. When I first started coming here, admittedly there was an ongoing problem with lab orders being faxed but, that was eventually resolved. Other than that, absolutely zero issues with anyone I've come in contact here. I know everyone's experiences are different so, i cannot speak for those who've given bad reviews for this practice but, i can absolutely say that has never been my experience here. Having cancer is a very difficult situation, certainly physically but, i often think moreso emotionally, and I am so very grateful that this office, and in particular Dr Phelps, were the medical professionals I happened to involve myself with. If one has to deal with a serious illness, my experiences here would lead me to say this is the office I would choose to see me through it!"
"Had a video appointment with Dr Phelps, she was sick and coughing the entire time. Finally, she says my team will contact you to schedule my procedure. 2 months later, haven't heard anything from them. I call the office, no one ever answers the phone, or returns phone calls. What a horrible place to deal with. Very unprofessional."
"Jessica Phelps is the worst doctor ever and so his her staff I was suppose to have a procedure and talked to staff the Friday before when another dr prescribed a steroid and the office said it would be ok then I called the day and was told that’s fine of because my husband took off for procedure and then go for the actual procedure and she wasn’t in the room 2 mins and told me she wasn’t doing it. Also she billed my insurance 180 dollars for the visit … as far as I’m concerned that’s INSURANCE FRAUD do not go to this office"
"I saw Dr. Stork for a mass removal that has been causing me severe pain. I could see the mass myself as well as several ultrasounds done on the area. When I woke after my surgery I was told Dr. Stork did not remove any mass and “didn’t see anything abnormal” which is obviously bizarre considering I could see the mass externally and had been in a great deal of pain. He then made me wait 2 hours post surgery for my prescriptions because of his negligence and lack of communication. When he did finally write my prescription he sent it to the wrong pharmacy despite all my nurses being fully aware of my needs. I would not trust Dr. Stork. 2-6-2023 Update 3-9-2023 After seeing doctor storks team post surgery no one has given any answers as to why I can still see a mass and why I’m in so much pain. They did however raise my dose of pain meds after seeing me again. But when I called to renew my prescription (that I didn’t ask to be put on or raised) the staff treated me horribly and said they wouldn’t be refilling the script. It took 2 days of calling the office non-stop to finally hear back from the PA. She apologized for the miscommunication and offered me a different treatment option, while ignoring my concerns for withdrawal and obvious prescription history. I still don’t understand why they would raise my dose one week just to cut me off the next after no changes in treatment or symptoms. This office has shown repeatedly that they don’t know what they are doing and have no concern for the actual wellbeing of their patients."
