"On my last full day of our first vacation in beautiful Saugatuck, I sat on the edge of the bed to simply put on my jeans, and suddenly my vacation was OVER! I tweaked my back in the slightest way and found myself in a world of sharp “nerve” pain! My low back felt like it had a 25 lb weight on it and I could not get off the bed without help from my husband. I fought back tears as my mind was racing to problem solve how in the world I was going to get well enough to start out on an 8 hour drive home the next morning?! I had experienced episodes like this in the past, and they NEVER resolved quickly. I Googled “chiropractors nearby” and read reviews for 3 or 4 chiropractors in the area. Only one gave me the confidence to put myself in the hands of a complete stranger…that was Dr. Curtis Day of Saugatuck Chiropractic Clinic, on Blue Star Hwy! The woman who answered the phone was so empathetic, my heart melted. Though it was already late afternoon, she said the words I was praying for, “Dr. Day said he could see you at 6:15.” This was after their normal hours, I was so grateful!! I was shocked!! Let me tell you, from the time I walked into that waiting room, I felt at ease and cared for. Dr. Day’s assistant was so kind and personable and professional, I knew I was in the right place and in good hands! Dr. Day walked into the exam room, and put me at ease with his warm professionalism. He took his time with me and for the next 40 minutes I received the best chiropractic care possible. I have been a regular chiropractic care client since I was in my 20’s, and now I am 64, so I have seen it all - I thought. Until now. I felt significant improvement by the time I left his office! And I was able to see him early the next morning for one more treatment before we got on the road! That second visit gave me so much relief, I made it all the way home the next day WITH NO NERVE PAIN!! Incredible!! I could not thank Dr. Day and his staff enough for what they did for me. As I was leaving, I told him that whenever I plan my next trip to Saugatuck, I will call his office and make an appointment!! If you are reading this review because you are in terrible pain and don’t know who you can trust in Saugatuck, fear not and make appointment with Dr. Day. You’re going to be ok, I promise."
