Reviews of Trinity Health Medical Group, Academic Obstetrics and Gynecology - Hackley
"Get anyone but L weesies or dr jack parks in the office, honestly I wouldn’t even suggest you going there. Got him for the first time and instantly felt uncomfortable but was trying to give it time after 3 appts I kept telling him something is wrong with my baby, all they could keep saying is the pain is normal, you have no infections. I was in pain all the time, having braxtin hicks or some type of contractions. I went in and they were having trouble finding my babies heartbeat, did a lil quick peek with an ultrasound on the phone but only for a sec and didn’t measure the heart rate (L weesies) cause he was out the office that day, she knew my baby was also breeched only at 18 weeks WAY to early but didn’t care one bit. I go into the hospital the next day to find out my baby has fetal hydrops, and then a few days later I had to deliver her dead. ALWAYS listen to your patient instead of throwing it off, wether we could’ve done something about it or not. I was telling him for weeks something isn’t right . I shouldn’t have had to find out and 3 days later deliver her .we should’ve know , he should’ve ordered an ultrasound, blood work at the very least. He also gives a vibe that he doesn’t want to be there, it’s more creep vibes from him. I will never forget this or YOU."
"There are a few good people but a big majority of the staff are rude. Your wait time before your appointment is to long and another 30 to 40 in the back room."
"I was a new patient attending for my annual pelvic exam on Friday, April 26. I have seen many doctors over the years, and I have ALWAYS requested females. The thought of a male doctor makes me uneasy - that's just the case for some women, and I'm one of them. Because doctors understand this, you are ALWAYS asked if you're comfortable with a male, or need a female. I specifically said I need a female doctor. This was mentioned when I called to set up the appointment, and just like all previous times, I assumed this would be respected. I was told that I was going to see Dr. Matters. I arrived at the appointment, and when Dr. Matters came in, after I had already undressed, she brought a male RA with her. He was very nice, but no one explained to me what he was doing, and NO ONE asked me if it was okay. Just thinking about this all over again is extremely upsetting to me and I feel extremely uncomfortable. The doctor was very nice - but that's not the point here. He asked me some questions, then left. I was extremely relieved and praying he did not return for the exam. Then when she returned to perform the exam, she had him with her. I was holding back tears the entire time. I was so angry, upset and confused. I've been asked in the past at other offices if it would be okay to include a new staff member, trainees, etc. and I've always respected their decision to ask me how I felt before assuming a man could enter the room. What’s worse, is that I suffer from very bad anxiety. Anxiety that prevents me from speaking up or taking control over a situation when I feel helpless or coerced into something I don’t like. I wanted to tell him to leave but I had no idea what to say because it felt like someone took a choice about my body away from me. It has been days since he performed my exam, and I have not calmed down. I thought I was being dramatic, but everyone I've talked to thinks it is understandable. After he left the room I immediately became emotional and could not leave for a few moments. If I could turn back time I would have asked him to leave. I shouldn't have been put in that position in the first place. I shouldn't have to be rude and ask him to leave, because it should have been communicated to me ahead of time since I specifically requested that I only see a female doctor. Needless to say, I will never be returning to that office. My appointment was at 2 PM, and I'm still just as upset and angry as I was during the exam. I want to clarify that NONE of the doctors were inappropriate, rude, or negative in anyway. My experience was not harmful. Again, that is not the point. My personal privacy and choices were violated, and it is NOT my fault that I didn't say anything, because I had NO clue what to do. I don't think I will be able to shake off this horrible feeling for days to come. I can't accurately describe it other than I feel that my rights and wishes were violated and I'm so angry that my choice was taken away from me."
"Wish they hadn’t moved from upstairs but everyone is still very welcoming and nice. Dr Zageris is awesome she explains in detail plans or procedures and always makes sure you completely understand before moving on. Her partners are also very great. Highly recommend to anyone looking for gynecologist"
"Have absolutely nothing against any of the staff but they have a combined lobby with internal health. I had to clean pee off the restroom toilet because there was an older gentleman that used it before me. Seeing as it's a Gynecology office I wouldn't think that you should have it combined with any other type of office. I felt pretty uncomfortable seeing a bunch of men in the lobby after my check up. Also a younger pregnant woman was sitting in the lobby and she told me and she was pretty upset with the situation too. Not sure why they moved downstairs when they had a perfectly good single Lobby room upstairs but I'll have to find another provider now."
