"A little disappointed. I toured this school back in like June because I’ve been trying to find a cosmetology school I want to go to, I set up an appointment to tour it, I went I really enjoyed everything they offered and I planned on filling out an application and enrolling. After I left over the next few days I tried getting in contact with the admissions advisor about the next steps, but she completely stopped responding to me after I asked about payment options. I sent emails, text messages, just about everything over the span of a month and still not a word back. So then I just assumed maybe she would contact me closer to my desired start date (didn’t plan on starting until March) but the only messages I have received from the school I’m pretty sure are automated talking about wishing me a good holiday. If I was going to enroll with this school, I was supposed to be starting in less than a month. I ended up touring another school in Port Huron that has been absolutely amazing with communication and has gone through every step with helping me with this process so maybe it’s a blessing in disguise. Still a little confused about what happened here but it is what it is."

"While this place definitely has potential, it needs improvement. The facility itself is beautiful. I love that they use L'Oreal products, very good choice. There's a lot of talented and passionate students here. However, there's also students here who lack talent and don't possess passion. Honestly, it's a game. It's a risk you take, you never know what type of student you'll get. I highly suggest reading reviews or asking for a referral. I had a student request, but it was unfortunately denied. When I went in for my appointment, I was put with someone else. Naturally, I was upset. The front desk didn't even bother to call and notify me. Not everyone is comfortable seeing someone else. The student they put me with didn't talk much. She didn't ask me any questions. I felt like she wasn't comfortable, and that made me feel very uncomfortable. I decided to get a treatment and style, as I didn't want to risk getting a color. The student gave off a strong vibe that she wasn't confident in her ability to do hair (color service), which made me not want her to do my hair. Staff tends to try to push extra services and add ONS, which I understand. They are trying to make money. However, to be respectful of what the client wants, and stop pushing. I found that you have to be assertive, or else they won't listen to you. They've got a lot of great talent here, it's finding it that's the hard part. It's a risk you take. Again, read reviews or ask for a referral. I also believe there's some students here who aren't ready to be behind the chair, and need more training. *If you're a student and you're uncomfortable doing a service, please speak up! *If you need more education, please speak up! Unfortunately, I fell like some of the students here are pressured and forced behind the chair before they are ready. Otherwise, this is great place. I do think communication between staff and students needs to improve, as well as communication with clients. If they could fix this problem, they'd receive a 5 star rating!"

"One of the students, Brooklyn Ludwig did full highlights and cut/style on my hair. I cannot believe she's just starting out because she did an AMAZING job and in great time! I highly recommend booking an appointment with her because I know I found my forever hairstylist!!!"
