Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Guadalupe is a Catholic classical high school located in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Our institution is dedicated to providing a school culture founded on charity and joy, with a mission to form saints and leaders who excel in service to family, country, and Christ our Lord. Our rigorous curriculum is designed to unlock student potential and prepare them for success in college and professional life.
Inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II and the culture of life, our students participate in pro-life activities throughout the year, including the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. Our faculty, staff, and board members publicly make an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church at the Mass of the Holy Spirit at the beginning of each school year.
Our House system, drawn from the tradition of Christian education in Oxford and Cambridge, provides a sense of community within the school. We believe in rejecting secular trends in education and reclaiming the Church's distinctive tradition to flourish as a Catholic institution.
At Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Guadalupe, being pro-life is not limited to a club but is integrated into the learning environment. Our goal is to be the antidote to social chaos and instill faith, virtue, and excellence in our students. Our institution strives to create a transformative and faith-filled environment for all who are part of our community.
