"The ASD program here is very questionable. The teacher seems more like a prosecutor building a case versus helping. I've seen a woman half her height and size deal with my son for years without sending him home for weeks at a time. Literally I'll get a message saying I'm alone and won't have an aide for the rest of the week. Basically saying don't send my child. The classroom is right by an exit door on the first floor unguarded, and unlocked, right by the playground. Autistic children are known to wander. My son wandered right on to the playground. So now he has to go to a center based ASD program because these ppl think the grounds aren't safe for him. Honestly the grounds aren't safe for any ASD kid if the exit doors are unlocked, unguarded and a few steps away from the playground. Instead of putting kids in a center based program, retire the teacher that can't keep up. I'm not even going to get into the dog situation that happened. I damn near lost my mind because she texted me at work and scared me so bad talking about a dog on the playground and hope my son doesn't go outside. I left work crying and shaking. Take your child somewhere else if there is more than an autism diagnosis. PSA autistic children are known to wander."

"The children use profanity, have no respect. The elementary students use profanity just as bad as the middle school students. The parents need to discipline their children because it's a bad reflection on the upbringing. There is no way a child should have to observe this. It's not the staff it's the parents fault because it starts at home. The school is clean. Mrs Batts is a great 1st grade teacher."

"I went here for 2nd grade and it was AWFUL!! They made us drink hot milk, and my teacher once dragged a boy by his ear. They put milk and cereal in a garbage bag and made us eat from it. And my teacher did anything to get us in trouble she would make us stand in the corner and not let us use the bathroom AT ALL! Not a good school to go to."

"This is by far the worst school to send your child if they have any kind of special needs. Most of the teachers and staff are rude. My experience with my autistic son was most like a nightmare and because of my experience with this school i would never send another child of mine to a D.P.S school ever again. Just a mess!"
