"This school doesn’t know how to finish their building on time. None of the students like virtual, they doing this to make all of them fail. They had a whole year to renovate the school and still didn’t end up finishing it. Now the students have to wait until next year for them to finish again. This school is so lame. L school. The school also has no doors, or mirrors in the bathroom. Please fix that"

"The school went completely downhill after Mrs. dergis took place as principal. Theres the worst teachers in this school. 6th grade Ms. Assenso's teaching skills is horrible. Ive got complaints about her only allowing children to use the bathroom when she wants, even tho the students arent allowed to decide when their bladder must be emptied. There is rarely a/c or heater when its need most. The bathrooms are disgusting and small. People can easily look at you through the stall doors."

"I went to school here when it was WWHRC (Walt Whitman Human Resources Center) It was Brand New when I attended in the early 70's it was a fabulous wonderful school with a sunken library sunken media rooms tiered level cafeteria even a Theater back then. We planted trees on Pike Street next to the old TV Repair shop."

"My name is Jorge Acevedo and I am a sophomore at the University of Detroit Mercy. I had the honor to attend this school since the 6th grade. I have seen the program go through many challenges and switch between various schools throughout the years. No matter the challenges that were brought the students and faculty did their best to make sure that everyone was learning through projects. Looking back at my years I have grown thanks to teachers who really cared about my grades and any issues that I had. The faculty did their best to see their students go into the colleges and universities of their dreams. They knew that students went through multiple problems and they were there to make sure that their problems were addressed while giving them the best educational experience that they could. Project-based learning allows students to work in teams and present in front of their peers. This experience was vital for me to get out of my shell (comfort zone) and be able to talk to new people who would later become my friends or would want me to work in their company. There are also various clubs that you can be a part of that would look great on your resume, such as the robotics team. Create a club that you would like to see since it would look great on your resume. Being part of the Leaders of the Future, the robotics team (Team 51), the National Honor Society's Recycling Team, and so much more eventually paid off and created time management skills."

"I went to this school from 6th grade all the way until my senior year, and it helped me a lot. It’s a big family and everyone will try their best to help you succeed. The assistant principal Mr. Spencer had the biggest impact on me as a teacher, robotics coach and principal and I still keep in contact with him. If you live in Pontiac, I recommend going to this school."
