"I've always been reasonably satisfied with walking in for flu shots etc., but there is certainly nothing "express" about their COVID testing operation. I was just there today, and the car ahead of me was pulling up to the testing point as I arrived. The paperwork went immediately, but that car sat there for 40 minutes waiting for the testing person. Then the test swabbing took 30 seconds at most. What, does it take 5 minutes for paperwork, and 35 minutes to screw a cap on a test tube? The time previous I was there, I there were 3 cars ahead of me, and I waited well over an hour. My defense-related employer demands I get tested at the drop of a hat, and at one point my wife and 3 kids all were positive, so I'm not doing this frivolously. Also my dad is 98 years old, and my wife works in a nursing home, so we have real needs for timely information. My adult step-daughter got tested and was positive, but they took 5 or 6 days to contact her with that result! Well, thanks... that's how my whole family got infected around me! Thank goodness I refused to drive my dad to a family get-together the day before my wife came up positive at her job."
"Prior to this week, the last few times I have been here they told me to go to the ER. A heck of a lot of money just to get a prescription. This week, I came in yesterday wanting help with gastritis medicine (something I have been to various urgent care centers for downstate in the past), and as soon as I got to the counter (I had been waiting behind a family for 10-15 minutes), the lady told me that they weren't seeing any more patients that night. Like, thanks. Couldn't have told me while I was standing there in horrid pain that whole time waiting? Anyway, I came back today just to be told that they don't help with GI problems either. Does this facility even do anything? You just can't expect to receive affordable or reliable medical help in the area it seems."
"5 days since a walk-up COVID test for my family due to a kiddo with fever and still no results. I’m immunosuppressed but at this point, even if I’m positive , it’ll be basically too late to arrange for monoclonal antibody treatment. Sorely disappointed by every aspect and would not advise."
