"I would definitely never recommend this place for a child to learn to swim. My daughter did not have a good experience in this place. The child goes through several teachers, who can tell they have no experience. She stayed for almost four months without any progress. The most incredible thing happened when a “teacher” asked me what she could do to help my daughter. unbelievable! The “professional” asks the child's mother how to act. They didn't do the least to help my daughter. Do you know what the receptionist said? That it was better to seek private help."

"We love it here!!! The staff are wonderful and so accommodating to helping you match the best class for your child and schedule. I have to commend Tami on her professionalism and demeanor both on the phone and in an email. Due to some personal things and classes being needed to shuffled around , she was so quick to help me get it all sorted out and I didn’t have to ask twice. I will recommend all my family and friends with children needing swim lessons to choose this school and I love the location! The instructors are so supportive and make our child feel comfortable and eager to come and learn! :)"

"We have been at the West Bloomfield Goldfish Swim School since February of 2023. We had been to the Birmingham Goldfish years before, so we were familiar with the facilities. We have two elementary school aged boys. When we first arrived, Tammy at the front desk took great care of us and made us feel welcome and part of the Goldfish community. Liz is another of our favorites; she is organized and always willing to accommodate with scheduling. We began with swim lessons and had a great experience with both kids. Marina was especially personable and fun for our youngest; he adored her and learned a lot in her class. Our oldest progressed through swim lessons to the swim team, Swim Force. Kate and her team have worked hard to build an incredible program. In the beginning, there were things that didn't work but Kate and the team took feedback and made adjustments to grow it into the beautiful program it is now. I know it will continue to flourish. On Swim Force, swimmers are challenged to take their swim skills to the next level and are supported by several coaches in the water at all times. The coaches gently correct their technique while encouraging a positive and fun atmosphere. The kids are kind and cheer for each other no matter what. This kindness is a direct result of the support and positive attitudes of the coaches, which turns into a nurturing team atmosphere and positive team culture. Q and Zerin have been particularly encouraging to our oldest and he has responded to their instruction and care. We are so glad we returned to Goldfish after many years. The West Bloomfield team has put their hard work and hearts into making this a great place for kids to learn and grow."

"Goldfish West Bloomfield has provided our family with the best customer service we’ve ever received! My son has been swimming there since January 2023 when he was 4 months old and is so comfortable in the water and absolutely loves it. I love it too because the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming - very family like. Ms. Kate and Ms. Q have always been very kind, gentle, patient, and helpful during my son’s class time. Their love for the students is very apparent. We love it so much that we also come during family swim on other days! We had our son’s 1st birthday party there on September 16th and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure it went swimmingly (no pun intended). Liz and Gabby helped secure the date for the party, Tami helped with ensuring that we had a beautiful video presentation and food was ordered, Hannah coordinated with my event decorator to make sure we had everything in place to make the event look nice, and Lindsay, Kate, and Sam made sure that all of the guests felt safe! Sam even dressed up in the Bubbles costume which the kids really enjoyed! One of my friends who attended the event purchased a party for her daughter based on this top tier experience. Above and beyond customer service is what you will expect at Goldfish West Bloomfield!"
